Piryx - Empowering Democracy
Piryx began with a spark of an idea.
An idea to alter the status quo of modern democracy. Piryx founder Tom Serres experienced firsthand the tedious red tape of the campaign process. He envisioned an easier way to enter public service. Tom enlisted the help of school friends Naveed, Brian, and Greg, to consult local candidates' campaigns. Juggling college classes and political consulting kept the team busy, but they made it work.
Soon the team offered branding, marketing, and campaign management services to politicians in various levels of politics. It was this short stint in consulting, and the hurdles that came with it, that got the team thinking. The team envisioned a way to empower politicians through technology at every level of politics. Not long after, Piryx was founded. That's the beginning — chapter one.
